Although professional services and corporate merger activity has been steadily growing for some time, we anticipate further developments in this area as professional services firms and corporates become increasingly cost driven given the economic forecast and move to secure sustained growth through mergers and acquisitions. In addition to satisfying the requirements of business and client fit, the key element to a successful merger is ensuring that the parties share similar values, culture and vision. Dean & Ling has achieved high performance outcomes and was instrumental in four significant merge deals in 2008 alone.
