Richard is responsible for executing partner and senior lawyer searches in Sydney, Perth and Brisbane. He typically works exclusively with a small handful of State based, national and international leading commercial law firms across both core and derivate practice areas. Underpinning his approach is; a commitment to a collaborative and seamless relationship with clients, a structured approach and critically a deep understanding of the market proposition strategy.
Richard has over a decade of experience in professional recruitment. After several years of working in London, he joined an ASX listed recruitment firm in Melbourne in 2001 where he gained extensive executive recruitment experience.
Prior to joining Dean & Ling, Richard managed a significant portfolio of senior executive assignments across Sydney and Perth as a principal consultant of Perth-based executive search firm, Gerard Daniels. His achievements include an extensive number of domestic and international search engagements for business critical positions.
Richard also has experience recruiting vertically from executive leadership roles through to senior functional heads. His generalist experience spans a multiple of industry disciplines within professional services firms.
Richard is qualified in business and is experienced in behavioural interview techniques, all aspects of career counselling and executive remuneration packaging. He is well equipped to provide expert advice to executive business leaders and is a senior recruiter who has a broad network across the market and search capabilities extending beyond interstate boundaries, and internationally.
