Sarah holds combined Arts/Law degrees from Monash University and commenced her professional career with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, where she became a tax expert within the International Assignment Services team.

Commencing her recruitment career early in 1999, Sarah joined a multinational executive recruitment consultancy, focusing on legal and chartered accounting recruitment. Sarah played a key role in developing the consultancy's legal recruitment practice and developed a strong niche in law firm recruitment within the Melbourne market.

Sarah spent four years with an ASX listed recruitment company, principally focusing on partner and senior associate search work for major law firm clients nationally. As an Associate Director with the company, Sarah also played a key management role within the Melbourne office, directly managing the Legal and Technology divisions. She held the position of the company’s National Head of Legal when she left to join Mark Dean.

Sarah has been involved in executive search processes for the recruitment of partners and senior associate/special counsel lawyers throughout Australia. She has recently successfully completed a number of national search assignments within challenging time frames. Her strong reputation is firmly established in this field.

An accomplished executive coach, Sarah has also received extensive training in behavioural based interview techniques and has a strong commitment to balancing the needs of her clients while maintaining a high degree of candidate care. Sarah brings with her a strong network of candidates within the legal market and an excellent reputation for delivering comprehensive and timely solutions for her clients.

Sarah is responsible for the placement of lawyers in both partnerships and corporations, together with senior executives for our major corporate clients.
