James is a highly experienced recruiter with over 30 years in the industry. He joined Dean & Ling Executive in 2011 after managing his own recruitment business for four years. Prior to 2006 James worked for three international, publicly listed recruitment firms in the UK (Hays) and in Australia (Michael Page & Hamilton James & Bruce).
James has built a strong reputation in the middle management and executive segments of the Accounting & Finance profession and manages Advertised Recruitment & Executive Search mandates across the entire value chain including Financial Reporting & Control, Taxation, Treasury, FP&A, Internal Audit & Risk, Strategy & Corporate Development and CFO appointments.
James has worked with diverse employer organisations including family offices, founder/owner-managed businesses, start-ups, established SME’s, private and ASX-listed enterprises and multinational corporations. In addition to his recruitment consulting experience James has also held management and leadership roles in Client Relationship Management and Business Development.
