Executive Manager - Memberships, Partnerships & Growth

  • Executive Leadership Across Member Experience and Commercial Growth
  • Drive Sales, Membership, Sponsorship and Events Performance
  • Build Cohesive Teams and Deliver Measurable Business Improvements

An opportunity exists for an accomplished executive to lead membership experience, partnerships and commercial growth within an established membership organisation.

Combining strategic influence with direct accountability for results, this role will suit an experienced executive who has improved customer service while growing revenue. You will bring strong sales credentials, sound commercial judgement and the ability to empower managers to deliver.

Working closely with the CEO and the Executive leadership team, you will strengthen member value and translate business priorities into clear plans, agreed service standards and measurable outcomes.

A critical priority will be building strong alignment between Head Office and regional teams. You will ensure regional feedback and insights inform business decisions, while working cohesively with the General Managers who hold specialist expertise and key decision-making responsibilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and developing managers, with clear expectations, appropriate authority and accountability for performance.
  • Driving membership acquisition and retention, alongside sponsorship, partnership and profitable events revenue.
  • Reviewing and improving the end-to-end member journey, using customer feedback, commercial insights and CRM data to identify priorities.
  • Developing agreed customer service standards alongside measures of member experience.
  • Improving CRM adoption and the use of information to support sales activity, service delivery and informed decisions.
  • Building effective relationships across the business to deliver consistent service and coordinated commercial outcomes.

You will bring demonstrated executive leadership experience and a record of delivering both commercial growth and service improvement. You will have successfully led managers and teams, exercised executive judgement and taken responsibility for business outcomes.

Your experience will include:

  • Direct sales leadership and personal accountability for revenue growth, supported by measurable results.
  • Commercial management, including budgets, profitability and performance targets.
  • Improving customer or member acquisition, retention and experience.
  • Developing partnerships, sponsorships or events that generate commercial value.
  • Leading change and strengthening collaboration across functions or locations.
  • Using data, customer insights and market intelligence to make decisions and hold teams accountable.

You will be a confident, collaborative leader who establishes trust with executive colleagues, welcomes specialist expertise and gives managers the support and authority to perform.

Relevant experience may come from membership organisations, hospitality, travel, tourism, sport, events or other businesses with strong customer relationships and commercial disciplines. Industry experience is useful, but your executive leadership capability, sales experience and evidence of results will be central to your success.

Please submit your CV and a brief cover letter outlining your executive leadership experience and achievements in sales, revenue growth and customer or member experience.

For a confidential discussion contact Mark Phillips, Managing Director, Dean & Ling Executive, on 0414 609 604 or mphillips@deanling.com.au.  Alternatively, submit your application via the Apply button or visit www.deanling.com.au
