This is a key appointment in Flite’s Group Finance team which also offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the global sales function and with the parent entity’s regional financial reporting team based in Melbourne.
Reporting to the Business & Financial Controller, your primary mandate will be to use your strong data analytics and your budgeting & forecasting skills to prepare, analyse and present insightful financial commentary on trends in customer sales, profitability, ‘cost-of-doing-business’, inventory management and supply chain operations performance. You will be expected to work collaboratively with stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Operations up to General Manager level, using your intuitive commercial acumen and your flair for data analytics to add clarity, accountability and insights to sales and operational performance outcomes, and your analysis will also contribute to S&OP and longer-range strategy and business planning objectives. As part of a highly collegial Group Finance function, you will also be expected to pitch in to support month end financial reporting requirements when required and also assist in the delivery of key projects as directed from time to time.

You are likely to be a recently qualified CA/CPA (or close to qualifying) who is seeking a stimulating and broadly exposed role where you can apply your technical accounting knowledge and your strong data analysis and financial modelling skills whilst developing your business acumen in a stimulating, evolving and entrepreneurial environment. Relevant experience in a product-based sales & distribution environment e.g. FMCG manufacturing or a Retail/Inventory/Supply Chain environment is highly desirable and prior experience with Phocas (BI & FPA software) and Workday Adaptive planning system would also be well regarded. Equally important will be your highly accountable workstyle, your aptitude for learning new skills and your flair for building strong collaborative working relationships.
