Are you a strategic and technically astute leader ready to take the helm of a complex engineering and production operation?
We are partnering with a nationally recognised manufacturing business to appoint a General Manager - Engineering who will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of a high-spec, design-led production environment.
Based in Brisbane (South), this is a rare opportunity to lead multidisciplinary teams through end-to-end project delivery, from client brief and concept through to commissioning, all within a business known for its bespoke, high-performance solutions used across defence, infrastructure, and industrial markets.
The ideal candidate is a proven engineering leader with experience in complex, design-led manufacturing environments. You will bring strong technical expertise, a hands-on leadership style, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across design, production, and project delivery.
Commercially astute and operationally focused, you thrive in fast-paced environments and are skilled at aligning technical execution with business outcomes. Experience in regulated or high-spec sectors, such as defence or infrastructure, will be highly regarded, along with a track record of driving continuous improvement, safety, and team performance.
Additionally, you will hold the following qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor of Engineering - mandatory
- Project Management experience (a formal accreditation such as Prince 2 will be viewed favourably)
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership position within a manufacturing environment
