Legal Counsel

  • Broad Commercial Role
  • Dynamic In-house Environment
  • Flexible Hybrid Working Arrangements

Our client is a highly regarded market leader known for its innovative products, strong commercial brand and collaborative culture. They are now seeking a junior to mid-level Commercial Lawyer to join their established in-house team. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking their first in-house move or an in-house lawyer looking to step into a larger, supportive in-house legal team.

As part of a collaborative, customer-focused and high-energy Legal team, you will step into a broad and engaging role, assisting in delivering commercially focused legal support across the business. In this varied and high-impact position, you will draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements; provide legal advice across marketing, competition and consumer law, privacy and general commercial matters and work closely with a highly engaged Legal team that values collaboration, learning and continuous improvement

You will be a flexible, adaptable and positive lawyer with 3–5 years’ post-admission experience in commercial, contracts, competition & consumer and/or privacy work, gained in private practice or an in-house environment. A genuine interest in learning the business, strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport easily will be key to your success. This role will suit someone who is energised by variety, new subject matter and working with diverse stakeholders and who is naturally proactive, commercially minded and solutions focused.

If you’re ready to join a friendly, high-performing legal team where your ideas will be valued and your growth supported, it would be great to hear from you.

For a strictly confidential discussion, please contact Sarah Ling on 0402 265 217.  Alternatively, submit your application (Word version) via the Apply button.
