Our client is a well-respected market leader in a complex, highly regulated industry, known for its collaborative culture and commitment to its customers, partners and the communities it serves. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Legal Counsel to join their established in-house legal team. This is a great opportunity for a lawyer with strong contracting experience who is looking to step into a high-impact in-house environment or deepen their expertise within a large, multifaceted organisation.
As part of a close-knit and commercially focused Legal team, you will step into a broad and engaging role, providing end-to-end legal support across the business. In this varied position, you will review, advise on and negotiate a wide range of contracts and commercial agreements; maintain and update precedent documents and standard-form templates; assist in managing disputes and regulatory matters; advise on media responses and complaints handling; support the remediation and rectification of issues and incidents; and review correspondence with customers, providers and regulators.
You will be a confident, pragmatic and solutions-oriented lawyer with approximately 4–7 years' post-admission experience in contracting and commercial law gained in private practice or an in-house environment. Prior experience within a large, regulated services business including healthcare providers or health insurers will be highly regarded. Strong drafting skills, sound commercial judgment, the ability to communicate complex legal issues clearly and a genuine interest in understanding the business will be key to your success. This role will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced, stakeholder-rich environment, is comfortable navigating regulatory complexity and brings a calm, constructive approach to sensitive matters.
If you're ready to join a supportive, high-performing legal team where your expertise will be genuinely valued and your career development actively supported, we would love to hear from you.
