Our client is on a pivotal transformation journey, with a focus on placing customers at the heart of everything it does. As part of this evolution, a new role has been created for an experienced risk professional to support the broader Risk and Compliance team in driving the risk maturity roadmap and assist with building a robust, value-adding team.

Reporting to the Head of Risk & Audit, you will play a key role in implementing and embedding practical risk frameworks across the organisation. You will lead the delivery of the risk maturity roadmap, strengthen team reputation, trust and value across the business, and help foster a culture of accountability and risk awareness. This role requires a collaborative, high performing leader who can partner with and effectively encourage first line stakeholders to challenge, advise, support, and engage with audit (third line) to uplift risk management and drive continuous improvement.

This is a broad, hands-on opportunity suited to a pragmatic senior risk professional with experience across a broad range of risk management including exposure to technology risk. Will suit someone at Manager/Senior Manager level in professional services, or with some exposure within industry, and a strong track record in implementing and embedding effective risk and business continuity frameworks. Your communication and stakeholder engagement skills are exceptional, and you will be a confident advisor, persuasive influencer, and active listener, with the executive presence to build credibility and trust across all levels of the business. Managing up is key, keeping senior leaders in your team across the work you are doing, as priorities can change through the transformation journey.
