Due to their ongoing growth and commercial success, we are now looking for a Principal Geotechnical Engineer for their Sydney office.
The Role
As the Principal, you will work hand in hand with the directors to deliver outstanding work.
You’ll provide expert advice, lead design and risk assessments, and play an integral role in building and mentoring a small team, delivering practical, innovative, and safe solutions for foundations, shoring, retaining structures, slopes, and ground improvement.
You
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering.
- Extensive local industry experience in Geotechnical Engineering – disaster relief and/or infrastructure-related experience is preferred; consulting or contracting backgrounds are both suitable.
- Demonstrable balance of technical and commercial skills.
- Interest and ability to form and maintain fruitful commercial relationships.
- A thorough understanding of applicable legal and regulatory frameworks.
