Reporting to the Group Finance Manager you will be responsible, along with other finance team members, for the preparation and reporting of the organisation’s internal and external monthly and yearly reporting, ensuring policies and procedures are maintained and followed, and ensuring a clean audit report. The role will be expected to use technical subject matter expertise and a client focused work ethic to respond proactively to accounting queries from internal stakeholders and work with external advisors to help to ensure that the Group’s compliance obligations are met. The role will also help to ensure that the governance frameworks for financial controls and risk management continue to effectively support the Group structure. In addition to broad BAU responsibilities, this role will also provide opportunities to get involved in interesting projects as required for a growing business.
You are a qualified CA who is now seeking a Group head office finance role in industry as part of your continued professional development. The opportunity to work in a dynamic and progressive corporate environment in a growing international business may also appeal to you. Ideally you will already possess some industry experience gained in a similar role in a corporate environment, or you might be a Big 4 Chartered Accountant seeking to move into industry for the first time. In either case you should possess a collegial & professional work ethic, well developed technical accounting skills and a flair for developing influential and engaging working relationships with stakeholders.
