Senior Legal Counsel - Superannuation

  • Respected Industry Superannuation Fund
  • Broad Legal Exposure Across Superannuation and Investments
  • Engaged and Collegiate Legal Team | Genuine Workplace Flexibility

Our client is a well-established Melbourne-based superannuation fund, recognised for its strong values, professional culture and genuine commitment to its people. The Fund promotes a collaborative and inclusive environment where employees are supported to achieve their best. An opportunity has arisen for a mid to senior level Lawyer to join the Legal team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Reporting to the Head of Legal and working closely with a tight knit legal team, you will provide commercially focused legal advice across a range of areas, including financial services, corporate and general commercial law. This broad role will see you advising on the Fund’s legal and regulatory obligations under the Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Act, Superannuation Prudential Standards, Corporations Act and other relevant laws, as well as providing advice on investment management matters from time to time.

You will be a proactive, team-oriented lawyer with around 10 years’ financial services legal experience, ideally with exposure to superannuation, gained in either private practice or an in-house environment. Joining a collaborative and high-performing team, you will bring the confidence to contribute ideas, the agility to hit the ground running, and the ability to deliver practical, commercially focused solutions. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a genuinely flexible and supportive organisation that values initiative, collaboration and professional growth. Melbourne based.

For a strictly confidential discussion, please contact Sarah Ling on 0402 265 217.  Alternatively, submit your application (Word version) via the Apply button.
