Reporting to the GM Tax you will primarily manage the Direct & Indirect Taxation compliance for all entities across the Group. Your broad scope will also include preparing the tax consolidation and all periodic tax effect accounting entries, Taxation Reporting and CbC Reporting for all entities across the Group, Transfer Pricing compliance, FBT and Tax forecasting. As a senior subject matter expert you will be expected to respond effectively to tax-related queries from internal stakeholders, support Due Diligence/ M&A projects when required and work with external advisors to ensure that the Group’s compliance obligations are met. As a collaborative team player, you will also use your technical expertise to support the ongoing development of quality reporting processes and systems and help to ensure the tax governance and risk management framework effectively supports the Group’s business requirements.
This is a broadly mandated role in a highly acquisitive and growth focused enterprise and should appeal to a career minded senior tax specialist who is now seeking to significantly enhance their career development. A detailed, broad and demonstrable understanding of corporate taxation compliance is an essential platform for this role – you may be looking for your first move from Chartered (Big4 is preferable) or you may have already honed these skills in another substantial and complex corporate enterprise. Equally important will be your aptitude for combining your technical expertise and business acumen to deliver commercially pragmatic outcomes, your flair for building highly collaborative working relationships and the energy and drive to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment.
